How it works
PulseX is built to catch early attention shifts. We measure community chatter and alert when a keyword’s mention velocity spikes.
1) Collect
We poll API-first communities (ex: Reddit) and extract keyword mentions. For MVP we avoid fragile scraping sources.
2) Count + window
Mentions are aggregated in a sliding time window. Raw counters are stored with TTL (Redis) to keep infra lean.
3) Detect spikes
A spike fires when current window count is significantly above baseline (multiplier + minimum baseline), with cooldown to avoid spam.
4) Notify (Telegram-first)
Alerts are delivered instantly to Telegram. Later: per-user routing, custom watchlists, and subscriptions.
